Copperbelt Province Permanent Secretary Bright Nundwe has implored Germany investors to capitalise on the forthcoming Provincial Exposition and identify areas of investment.
Mr. Nundwe says Zambia and Copperbelt in particular, is still rich in mineral deposits and called on them to invest in the sector.
He says although the province is on its diversification agenda to other sectors such as tourism, forestry and manufacturing, the mining sector is still viable.
Dr. Nundwe said this when he accompanied visiting Federal German minister of Economic Development and Corporation Gerd Muller’s delegation toured Mopani’s Nkana underground shaft in Kitwe.
And Dr. Muller said Zambia is among the countries in the world which produces higher grade copper which can be used to manufacture advanced electronic gadgets.
