Lawsuit in opposition to retailer may set corporate-liability precedent – Deutsche Welle


A court in Germany will decide whether clothing retailer Kik can face a lawsuit for damages from a massive fire seven years ago at a factory in Pakistan that was one of the company’s key suppliers. Hundreds of people were killed in the blaze, which was followed months later by the deadly collapse of another garment factory in Bangladesh.
